About the role

Stellar is looking for founding software engineers (accepting applications ranging from medior to senior+ level) to help us scale our AI voice agent platform.

We're looking for team members who are self-starters and able to work across the entire stack - from building scalable enterprise-grade backend services in Go and Node (Typescript) to crafting intuitive user interfaces in React.

As one of the first members of our engineering team, you’ll play a vital role in Stellar's journey and have the opportunity to help shape our architecture, development practices, and product and engineering roadmap.

This role is based out of our Amsterdam office. We value in-person collaboration and do not offer remote-only roles.

What you'll do

• Build performant, enterprise-grade APIs and backend services in Go and Typescript (Node.js)
• Develop Stellar's Studio frontend in React, TypeScript and NextJS, to allow companies to effectively design, test, deploy and monitor their AI voice agents
• Design a scalable, fault-tolerant system architecture that can handle large volumes of concurrent real-time audio conversations & agent interactions while maintaining low latency
• Work on Stellar's AI agent framework, at the intersection of software engineering and AI engineering
• Design and implement a platform that meets enterprise standards in terms of security, compliance, resilience and data privacy
• Build API integrations with systems used by our customers (e.g., CRMs, customer support systems, internal APIs) to enhance the capabilities of Stellar's agents
• Improve platform performance, observability, and developer experience to ensure we can operate as a high velocity engineering team
• Help shape the early engineering culture for a young and growing tech startup, and help coach and mentor future team members

Who you are

• At least 4+ years of professional experience building and shipping software to production (we're accepting applications ranging from medior to senior+ level)
• Comfortable with Go, Node.js, Typescript and/or React (bonus if you know all of these)
• Experience building across the full stack, from frontend to backend to infrastructure level
• Proactive, self-directed, and excited to work in a fast-paced startup environment with a high degree of autonomy
• Fluent in English
• EU work authorization

Salary range

€70.000 - €100.000 + equity
