Build the numbers behind the energy transition.

VTTI is a global player in energy storage and infrastructure. We’re scaling fast and transforming our portfolio so we’re adding a Financial Analyst to our Business Performance team at HQ (Rotterdam). Perfect next step if you’re moving from Transaction Services / Corporate Finance / Consulting into a high-impact business finance role.

What you’ll do

  • Own workstreams in the annual budget, multi-year plan and quarterly performance cycle linking operations to P&L, cash and value.
  • Model scenarios & value drivers (pricing, volumes, FX, capex, financing) to support investment decisions and portfolio steering.
  • Translate due-diligence thinking to BAU: from one-off FDD insights to ongoing KPI dashboards, variance bridges and performance narratives.
  • Shape strategic projects (5-year plan, value creation programs, equity story, refinancing/ratings materials, capex/investment cases).
  • Partner with OpCos & HQ to challenge assumptions, standardize data and turn analysis into decisions.
  • Craft crisp materials for senior leadership (C-suite/Board packs): clear storylines, clean visuals, bullet-proof numbers.

What you bring

  • Master’s in Economics/Business/Finance
  • 3–6 years in Business Finance / FP&A, Transaction Services (Big 4) or Corporate Finance/M&A.
  • Advanced Excel & PowerPoint; Power Query / VBA experience is a big plus; Python/SQL nice-to-have.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Dutch is a plus
  • Strong financial modelling (3-statement, scenarios, sensitivities) and analytical problem-solving.
  • Comfortable challenging assumptions; sharp communicator who can turn complex data into a simple story.
  • High energy self-starter who likes pace, ownership and cross-functional work.

Why VTTI

  • Impact & exposure: direct line to senior leadership; your analysis steers portfolio and investment decisions.
  • Pace without the timesheets: deal-like intensity, tangible outcomes.
  • International scope & ownership culture in a growing company at the heart of the energy transition.
  • Growth path: clear runway to Senior Financial Analyst / Associate and, over time, Business Performance Manager.
  • Competitive package; full-time at Rotterdam HQ with flexible hybrid working.
