Freelance - Senior Backend Developer PostgreSQL/Node

Our client is the 1st complete sales solution turning your Staff into high achievers. They are the only sales platform for Gyms that prioritises upselling and generating additional sales from your existing members.

Requirements:

• More than 8 years of experience in building backend systems (including at least 1 year node.js with typescript)

• Production experience with SQL databases (ideally PostgreSQL using Prisma ORM)

• Good communicator (we expect fluent English - C1)

• UE citizenships

• Up for sharing knowledge and helping developers who have less experience

• You take responsibility for the quality of your work and write tests

• Love to learn with the ability to learn fast

• Creative and coming-up with new ideas

• Customer / end user obsession (yes, obsession is the right word)

• You enjoy working within a startup environment

Pluses:

• Experience using AWS services, familiarity with AWS Lambda

• Experience in Serverless

• Experience with GraphQL APIs

• Additional European language fluency

• You love fitness or at least be a regular sport practitioner

About the Mission:

Your mission will be to build from the ground up the software leveraging the experience acquired and current usage. Your tasks will be as following:

• Architecture & implementation of the server-side application logic, writing APIs, creating libraries, and working with system components

• Integration with external services, such as various Gym Management Software to provide rich functionality and data insights

• Supporting our customers, implementing their feedbacks and helping solve issues

• Exciting team collaboration to build a consistent, most cost effective & responsive application

• Writing clean & readable code

• Being in direct contact with our clients for conception and training purposes

• Travel to various European locations to understand gyms staff workflows
