We are looking for backend engineer with experiences in Typescript.

RTX Cloud product team is looking for a backend engineer for our Cloud Service Enterprise offering. We’re building a scalable, cloud-native platform to manage and monitor a large fleet of connected devices deployed across multiple customer environments. The platform is hosted primarily on AWS and leverages services like EC2, ECS, S3 etc. Communication with devices is done over MQTT. The system must be highly available, secure and reliable. You will be part of a team developing the RTX Cloud platform and while the platform launch is still limited in features, so you will be working closely with Product management, and you will be able to influence features and design daily.

As part of the RTX Cloud team, you will be working with and responsible for:

·      Writing and maintaining back-end code in NestJS

·      Implementing REST API

·      Writing automated tests

·      Ensuring the system is secure, monitored and resilient

·      Participate in code reviews, and ensure quality is met

Qualifications: 

You thrive in a team environment but are also capable of working independently. We expect you to be flexible and take strong ownership of your tasks. You approach problem-solving methodically and maintain a strong focus on delivering high-quality results. 

We expect you to:

·      Have experience in building backend in NestJS using Typescript

·      Have a solid experience in SQL

·      Have experience in building REST APIs

·      Have experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment

·      Have excellent English written and oral documentation and communications skills

·      Have a MS/BS in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or other related experience

It would be beneficial if you have:

·      Experience working with C#

·      Experience working with AWS and Microservices

·      Experience with software testing and debugging

·      Experience with bug tracking (Jira or other)

·      Experience with source code management tools (Git or Mercurial)
