eRepublik Labs is looking for a Junior AI Artist to join our team in developing a new cross-platform 4X strategy game. This is a unique opportunity to shape the visual identity of a major title from the ground up, utilizing cutting-edge AI tools and creative pipelines.

We’re looking for a hands-on creator with a sharp eye for aesthetics and a passion for technology. As a Junior AI Artist, you won’t be managing people; instead, you’ll be an operational expert focused on delivering high-quality visual assets that are both innovative and effective. You will work closely with our Art Director and other teams to bring a new vision to life, balancing creativity with speed and pragmatism.

Your Mission

• Create visual assets for our new 4X strategy title using AI-supported workflows, helping to define and evolve its art style.
• Assist in building and enforcing a consistent visual style across characters, environments, UI/UX, and special effects.
• Integrate modern tools and AI pipelines, including Stable Diffusion, Midjourney, and ComfyUI, into our production process.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to generate visual assets for campaigns and store pages.
• Balance creative vision with technical and production constraints, focusing on speed and tangible results.
• Contribute to the overall visual identity of the game, ensuring it stands out in the market while honoring the franchise’s legacy.

Your Backstory

• You have a portfolio showcasing both traditional/digital painting and AI assisted art pieces.
• Experience with AI-supported asset production is required.
• You are a hands-on creator who thrives on learning and problem-solving, with a knack for speed and efficiency.
• You are familiar with common art tools like Adobe Suite and 3D software like Blender, and have a basic understanding of game engines like Unity.
• You have an interest in how visual design impacts player engagement and a desire to contribute to a commercially successful project.
• Experience with ComfyUI is a significant advantage.
