System Engineer (C/C++/Erlang)

ALTEN is now looking for a driven and ambitious System Engineer with experience from complex systems, preferably within telecom or baseband. You will join a highly skilled team where you will get the opportunity to grow in a technically advanced environment and contribute with your expertise in system development and programming.

Your responsibilities

• Work with system design and analysis of advanced telecom and baseband systems
• Read, interpret, and apply complex technical documentation
• Follow established coding standards and contribute to process improvements
• Develop and test software in C/C++, Erlang, and Python
• Collaborate with colleagues in a cross-functional team with high energy and ambition

We are looking for someone with

• Experience in telecom and/or baseband development
• Strong programming skills in C++ and C (Python or Erlang is a plus)
• Experience working with complex systems
• Ability to understand and work with comprehensive technical documentation
• Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent). A Bachelor’s degree from Chalmers or KTH may also be considered.
• Excellent English communication skills, both spoken and written
• Swedish language skills are meritorious

Meritorious experience

• Knowledge of Cloud, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Background in automotive, ideally with MATLAB/Simulink
• Previous work with Packet Core (SMF, AMF, or UPF)
