ALTEN is now looking for a System Engineer with Cyber Security expertise to join our automotive R&D team. If you have a strong technical background, thrive in a structured environment, and want to be part of shaping tomorrow’s connected vehicles, this role could be the perfect fit.

Your role

As a Cyber Security System Engineer, you will work with:

• Cyber Security analysis and system engineering in automotive projects
• Performing TARA (Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment) and HARA (Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment) activities
• Creating and maintaining documentation according to automotive standards and processes
• Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to secure robust and safe system solutions
• Supporting development projects with your cyber security expertise to meet both technical and regulatory requirements

Your profile

We believe you have a relevant academic background in Computer Science, Electronics, Mechatronics, Software/System Engineering or similar, and experience from system engineering in complex environments.

To succeed in this role, you bring:

• Solid knowledge in Cyber Security within automotive or embedded systems
• Experience with TARA/HARA methodologies
• Strong skills in documentation and working according to established processes
• Ability to work independently and in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)

Meritorious experience:

• Previous experience from VCC (Volvo Cars) projects
• Knowledge within Infotainment, Connectivity or Android-based systems
• Familiarity with automotive communication protocols and standards
