Your role
As a UX Designer at Sweco IT, you’ll collaborate closely with stakeholders across the organization. You’ll be involved in the entire design process—from research and ideation to prototyping, developer handoff, and visual design. You’ll also contribute to and help evolve our design system, ensuring clarity and consistency. For example, you’ll work on a web tool that supports Sweco’s project management process—an essential tool used by all our project managers. The role is based in Stockholm in Sweden.
What You’ll Do
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to effectively communicate design solutions.
- Collaborate with developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to align solutions with business needs and technical constraints.
- Iterate and refine designs based on user feedback and metrics.
- Lead and facilitate workshops and design processes.
- Work with and contribute to the design system.
- Several years of experience as a UX Designer (5+).
- A portfolio showcasing your design process and results.
- Experience designing for larger, complex environments.
- Strong knowledge of responsive design for both desktop and mobile.
- A deep understanding of user-centered design principles.
- Fluency in Figma and other relevant design tools.
- Experience contributing to a design system.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Swedish is considered a strong plus.
You take ownership of your work, while staying flexible and pragmatic, ensuring that ideas turn into tangible, impactful results. You are curious, self-driven and manage projects with confidence. You communicate clearly with stakeholders at different levels and enjoy working with others.
What We Offer
- Flexible work arrangements, including the option to work remotely.
- A collaborative and supportive team culture that values inclusion, innovation, and continuous learning.
