Job Description: Product Owner – Test Development & Automation (Automotive Domain)

We are looking for a Product Owner with a strong background in test development, test automation, and Python software development to join our team. In this role, you will work in an Agile/Scrum environment, acting as a bridge between stakeholders and engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions in the automotive domain.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the Product Owner for test automation and validation activities in the automotive software domain.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements, analyse needs, and translate them into clear user stories and specifications.
• Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring prioritisation, refinement, and alignment with business objectives.
• Drive test development and automation strategy, ensuring the use of best practices, tools, and frameworks.
• Support the engineering team with requirement analysis and documentation, enabling smooth execution.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog grooming, reviews, retrospectives) and ensure timely delivery.
• Guide technical approaches for test automation using Python, Pytest, and Robot Framework.
• Ensure collaboration across cross-functional teams to maintain high-quality deliverables.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in test development and test automation (Python).
• Hands-on expertise with Pytest and Robot Framework.
• Solid understanding of requirement analysis, documentation, and traceability.
• Good knowledge of automotive systems and software development lifecycle.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies with proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to balance technical depth with business priorities to drive delivery.
