Project Controls Lead - Data Centre
Stockholm - residency
€160-200k + accommodation & transport
Following a recent major project award, this leading international consultancy is looking for an experienced Project Controls Manager (Lead) to oversee all aspects of project planning, scheduling, cost control, risk management and reporting. The successful candidate will play a key leadership role in ensuring the project, and future projects in the region, are delivered on time, within budgets and in compliance with quality and safety standards.
Role Responsibilities
- Lead the project controls function
- Establish and implement best practices, processes and tools for planning, cost control and reporting
- Provide strategic insights to project leadership and stakeholders to support decision making
- Integrate design, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover activities in the project schedule
- Identify and mitigate potential schedule risks and delays proactively
- Lead cost control process including budget development, forecasting, variance analysis and change management
- Ensure alignment with client and internal financial performance
- Manage change control processes to asses impact on cost, schedule and resources
Candidate Profile
- Construction related degree or a similar construction related qualification
- Experience
- Significant experience in Project Controls within the construction sector for consultancies and/or clients - ESSENTIAL
- Experience working on Data Centre projects - ESSENTIAL
- Proven track record delivering large scale projects
- Expert knowledge of project control tools and methodologies
- Team management experience
- In-depth knowledge of construction project management principles, techniques, and best practices
- Experience scheduling projects from conception through to completion (RIBA stage 1-5)
This role is open to non-EU passport holders, but candidates must be prepared to be based in Sweden full time.
