Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Data Scientist located in Istanbul. Combining business knowledge with data analytics to develop solutions tailored to our clients’ needs, conducting statistical analyses, designing new systems using machine learning and generative AI methods, and supporting existing systems constitute the core responsibilities of the role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze customer requirements, resolve them, and integrate solutions into the product
• Process, analyze, and model large datasets to generate valuable insights for customers
• Actively contribute to R&D projects and ensure their progress
• Conduct research in the field of data science and implement applicable projects
• Collaborate closely with data engineers and product managers to define project requirements and develop solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or other related quantitative fields
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in data science, data analysis, or business intelligence
• Hands-on experience in data science, artificial intelligence, and machine learning
• Strong foundation in statistical and mathematical methods, preferably with a focus on the retail sector
• Proficiency in Python programming
• Experience with database languages such as SQL and PLSQL
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and ability to work effectively in a team environment
• A Master’s or PhD degree in relevant fields is a plus
• Experience in Retail sector is a plus
