WWT Middle East currently has an opportunity available for a Senior Networking Architect acting as the go to networking advisor for our flagship account you will support our growing Middle East Sales team our of the UAE.

The Networking architect presents and markets the design and value of proposed WWT solutions and business case to partners, customers, prospects and qualifies the sales opportunities in terms of customer technical requirements, competition, decision making, and future strategies. As a senior network architect you are a leader within the team, enthusiastic about coaching your peers and always staying at the forefront of networking innovation.

In this specific role you will be given the opportunity to design network in novel environment such as AI Data Centers, next-generation cloud fabrics and work on new innovative solution that transform the way our customers consume technology and create new business opportunities.

RESPONSIBILITIES and Areas you will develop at WWT:

  • Develop and maintain customer and OEM relationships.
  • Serve as the technical liaison to not just our customers but also internally to WWT.
  • Engaging effectively with Sales team in support of customer pursuits, to advance sales campaigns and build rapport with customer contacts. 

  • To hold technology conversations up to senior members of the customer (CXO)
  • Work with account team with response to RFP, RFI and RFQ
  • Assist in developing Statements of Work and Bills of Materials working with the WWT Domain SME
  • Attend and lead customer business meetings with and without Account Executives.
  • Recognize, support and help sizing Professional Services level of efforts (LoE)
  • Building strong relationships in the UK region with WWT’s key OEM partners to foster collaboration and field level engagement. 

  • Achieving and maintaining required technology certifications and competencies 

  • Delivering Effective Customer & Partner Presentations 

  • Providing Effective Engineering Support of Customer Initiatives 

  • Leading and Presenting during Demand Generation Events 

  • Learning and presenting WWT Advanced Technology Centre Demos
  • Strategizing on customer penetration plans and the overall growth of the UK market

Languages

  • Fluent English mandatory
  • Fluency in Arabic Preferred

QUALIFICATIONS And Experience

  • Experience working in Telecom Industry preferably Tier 1
  • 5+ years of pre-sales, technical solution selling
  • Mandatory - Strong Knowledge of Networking Domains (DC, Core, Xhaul)
  • Preferrable - Strong Knowledge of Cloud Technology and infrastructure layer (Compute, network, storage, virtualization, Container)
  • Ability to travel
  • In receipt of technology or consultative training/certification
  • Demonstrable consultative technical “selling” skills - able to rapidly extract the customer’s business problems, that can then potentially be solved with a technology based solution.
  • Proven client presentation skills
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred; equivalent experience considered
