This role offers the chance to shape the growth engineering function from the ground up, directly influencing user acquisition and engagement across multiple channels in Latin America. You will design and implement scalable systems for web, backend, and mobile platforms, optimizing referral programs, acquisition funnels, and conversion pathways. Collaborating closely with Product, Marketing, Design, and Data teams, you will translate business requirements into technical solutions that drive measurable impact. This position provides autonomy, high ownership, and technical variety, while offering exposure to millions of users. You will also help establish best practices, tooling, and processes that scale as the team grows.
Accountabilities
- Architect and implement scalable acquisition infrastructure, including SEO, paid marketing, and referral systems
- Build, maintain, and optimize web applications using React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS
- Integrate backend APIs, databases, and real-time systems, ensuring performance, scalability, and availability
- Support mobile development with React Native where needed
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Design, and Data teams to transform business requirements into technical solutions
- Implement tracking, analytics, and experimentation frameworks to measure and improve growth initiatives
- Own end-to-end growth engineering initiatives, from conception to deployment and ongoing optimization
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with strong full-stack expertise
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS
- Experience with backend development in Java and Spring Framework
- Familiarity with AWS, microservices, distributed systems, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases like Redis
- Strong understanding of responsive UI/UX and software engineering principles
- Effective communication skills in English and ability to work autonomously
- Comfortable collaborating with non-technical stakeholders to deliver solutions
- Experience with growth/marketing tools (e.g., CleverTap, Adjust, Amplitude)
- Knowledge of A/B testing frameworks and analytics platforms
- Exposure to SEO, web performance optimization, or crypto/blockchain technologies
- Prior experience in fintech or high-growth technology companies
- Experience mentoring or leading other engineers
