About The Role

At MistyWest, the Project Manager leads all phases of complex projects, managing resources, budgets, schedules, and risks to deliver successful outcomes. You'll work closely with clients to translate their needs into clear requirements and guide multidisciplinary teams through product development and research across diverse industries. You'll also contribute to improving our project management practices for continued growth and excellence.

Accountabilities

  • Lead and deliver medium to large, complex projects on time and within budget
  • Define project scope, schedules, budgets, and resource plans with technical leads
  • Coordinate and manage engineering teams and procurement activities
  • Maintain transparent communication with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Monitor project performance against key metrics and ensure compliance with standards
  • Develop project strategies aligned with client goals and drive continuous improvement
  • Mentor junior team members and foster collaboration across teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
  • 5+ years of previous PM experience managing complex hardware product development projects (combination of hardware and software ok)
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, best practices, standards, and tools
  • Knowledge of risk management and change management techniques
  • Familiarity with core project management frameworks like Agile, Kanban, and Waterfall
  • Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello)
  • Multidisciplinary technical background is a strong asset
  • PMP certification, Certified Scrum Master, or similar credentials are a plus
