To expand our consulting skills, we are looking for an experienced IT System Architect (m/f) as a senior consultant for the planning of system solutions in the field of major international projects as soon as possible.

System Architect IT as Senior Consultant (m/f) – Expat GCC

The focus of its activities is on the planning and development of integrated solutions. In doing so, you will work closely with the project managers and our partners on the customer side. The position is advertised for an expat contract with a permanent local presence in the capital of a Gulf state (GCC) :

Your tasks:

• Consulting for operational, conceptual and strategic architecture decisions in major international projects
• Consulting on the planning and development of modern, distributed and highly secure IT systems in the field of eIdentity and biometrics
• Creation of requirements specifications as well as testing of test strategies and acceptance plans
• Professional requirements management
• Coaching of junior consultants and co-creation of team building on site

Your qualifications:

• Completed studies in the technical and scientific field and at least 7 years of professional experience
• Several years of experience in consulting in large-scale IT projects, ideally in international or security-critical environments
• Very good knowledge of architecture frameworks as well as methods such as UML, SOA and RM-ODP
• Hands-on experience with modern IT architectures (cloud platforms such as AWS/Azure/GCP, containerization with Docker & Kubernetes, microservices, API design)
• Knowledge of current standards in the field of IT security
• Experience in the field of biometric systems (e.g. ABIS) desirable
• Fluent in German and English; Arabic language skills would be a bonus, but are not necessary
