We are the Windows Servicing and Delivery (WSD) organization, which is a part of E+D division. Our core mission is to keep customers protected and productive by delivering a seamless and timely servicing experience for our customers in existing and future versions of Windows.
Our Currency, Pipeline and Commercial (CPC) team is responsible for creating the tools and processes that keep Windows up to date, ensuring that users have the most up-to-date features and security possible. We are looking for highly motivated Software Engineers to help reimagine traditional update systems and processes, as well as the redesign of updates from the ground up shifting to a modern, scalable, Azure-based solutions.

Responsibilities
- Contribute to all phases (design, prototype, implement, test) of our modern, scalable, cloud-based update creation service.
- Design, write and deliver micro-service implementation with focus on quality, availability, simplicity & maintainability.
- Communicate effectively and partner well with other disciplines of the project team to deliver high quality solutions from envisioning to implementation to live site availability.
- Investigate and search for technical difficulties with uncertainty and come up with proposals, drive for a solution with discussion/reviewing with senior members in the entire team.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- OR equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of development experience in UX working on all phases of a development cycle.
- Experience in building and maintaining a mature service - CI/CD, scalability, reliability, incident management.
- Expertise in UX, Angular, JavaScript and design and development of intuitive UI.
- Ability to understand unfamiliar code bases, debug user interface and backend connectivity issues, and highly scalable applications.
- Insight and intuitive thinking to recognize, address proactively and solve hard problems that span technology, development models, testing, and other areas.
- Solid communication, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability and passion to pick up new technologies and stay on the cutting edge of development.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science
- OR related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- OR equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of development experience in UX working on all phases of a development cycle.
- Experience in working with micro-services architecture, and restful designs, serverless and event driven design..
