As Head of Core Products, you will lead the strategic development and execution of a diverse portfolio of digital products used by millions globally. You will drive product vision, coordinate cross-functional teams, and optimize processes to ensure timely, high-quality delivery. This role combines strategic planning, financial management, and team leadership with hands-on involvement in product development and marketing. You will influence the evolution of digital platforms in a fast-paced, remote-first environment, collaborating with a global team of professionals. Your insights will shape business decisions, improve customer experiences, and contribute to long-term growth. This role offers the opportunity to work fully remotely while managing an international, results-driven team.

Accountabilities

Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and executing product strategies, setting short-term and long-term goals, and monitoring market trends to guide decision-making
  • Managing financial aspects, including budgeting, forecasting, and assessing the effectiveness of product initiatives
  • Overseeing product development processes to ensure projects meet timelines, quality standards, and budget requirements
  • Collaborating with development and marketing teams to deliver products successfully and optimize promotional strategies
  • Leading and mentoring the team, including hiring, training, motivating, and evaluating performance to drive results
  • Establishing measurable objectives and KPIs for products and teams, ensuring accountability and alignment with company goals
  • Driving continuous improvement in internal processes, development workflows, and cross-functional collaboration


Requirements

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • 5+ years of C-level management experience in non-startup product environments
  • Deep understanding of business planning, budgeting, product strategy, and roadmaps
  • Strong leadership skills, with a proactive approach and the ability to take ownership of outcomes
  • Expertise in developing modern digital products and managing cross-functional teams
  • Advanced analytical skills, including experience with SQL and modern BI systems such as Superset, Metabase, or Tableau
  • Proven ability to achieve results in both direct and matrix organizational structures
  • Fluent Russian, with strong communication skills to manage an international team
