Lyceum is building a user-centric GPU cloud from the ground up. Our mission is to make high-performance computing seamless, accessible, and tailored to the needs of modern AI and ML workloads. We're not just deploying infrastructure, we’re designing and building our own large-scale GPU clusters from scratch. The Role: Software Engineer

Join our core product team and turn complex infra into clear product surfaces. You’ll ship backend and platform features that make “run on GPU” feel instant — from APIs and services to reliability and observability.

What we are working on

• APIs for job submission, scheduling, usage & billing
• Runtime services for images, storage, networking, and identity
• Telemetry pipelines and data models for product metrics
• Reliability tooling, rollout systems, and incident response
• Developer ergonomics: local dev, testing, CI/CD, perf

What We’re Looking For

• High sense of ownership — you like building from the ground up
• Urgency and comfort working in fast-moving environments
• Curiosity and creativity in solving product and systems problems

Bonus Points

• Experience with distributed systems, containers, and orchestration
• Background in observability, cost/usage metering, or security
• Strong API design instincts and data modeling
• FastAPI experience for building service endpoints
• Kubernetes expertise (beyond basics)
