Machine Learning Engineer

A highly successful Australian deep tech company has an immediate need for a talented machine learning engineer with experience in AI, algorithm development, and signal processing. The role will focus on data wrangling and training/implementation of AI / ML models; algorithm prototyping, evaluation and implementation; and optimising the processing and evaluation of real-time data from sophisticated sensor systems.

Essential:

• Strong machine learning background
• Python for ML and algorithm development
• Experience with PyTorch and TensorFlow libraries
• Some signal processing exposure
• An ability to design elegant solutions to complex engineering problems
• Experience developing production code for commercial products
• Good design level skills
• Australian citizenship (classified technology)

Optional

• Implementing algorithms in C++
• Experience in areas like radar, radio telescopy, sonar, image processing, acoustics or biomedical signal processing would be helpful.
