Software Developer - Germany - Energy Trading - 100k

RJC is working a Software Developer role for a global energy trading company based in Germany. Working as part of the Intraday Trading team within the Front Office, they are looking for someone to work alongside strategists and traders to develop real-time trading systems to facilitate the Power Desk.

The role demands an expertise in C#/.NET software development, comfort developing and maintaining Azure pipelines and an appreciation for energy trading environments (particularly within an algorithmic trading capacity).

The ideal Software Developer will have:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience working with C# and related .NET technologies
• Exposure to Azure Cloud and other modern cloud-native tools (such as Terraform, Kubernetes, Kafka etc.)
• Comfort working directly with front office business stakeholders
• A keen interest in the energy markets — prior knowledge is a plus, but not required
• Fluency in English; German is a bonus
