Job Title: Change Manager – Automotive Systems Engineering

Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Change Manager to lead change management initiatives in complex automotive system development projects. This role involves close collaboration with OEMs, suppliers, and internal teams to manage evolving requirements, ensure quality standards, and drive agile execution. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ASPICE-compliant system engineering and agile project leadership, with excellent bilingual communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Change & Configuration Management:
Lead and manage change requests across the product development lifecycle.
Evaluate the impact of changes on system requirements, architecture, and timelines.
Ensure traceability and documentation of all changes in compliance with ASPICE standards.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Interface with OEMs (VW, MB, BMW, Stellantis), suppliers, and internal stakeholders to align on requirements, priorities, and delivery expectations.
Act as the central point of contact for change-related discussions and decisions.
Agile Project Leadership:
Co-lead Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, Retrospectives) alongside the Scrum Master.
Ensure sprint goals are clearly defined, tracked, and achieved.
Facilitate backlog grooming and sprint planning in response to change requests.
System Engineering & ASPICE Compliance:
Ensure all change-related activities comply with ASPICE SYS.1, SYS.2, and SYS.3 processes.
Support the derivation and validation of system requirements impacted by changes.
Team Leadership:
Lead and coordinate a project team of 10+ engineers, ensuring effective communication and task ownership.
Promote a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Automotive Engineering, or related field.
Experience: Minimum 8+ years in automotive systems engineering or project/change management.
Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of ASPICE system-level processes.
Experience working with German OEMs (VW, MB, BMW, Stellantis).
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
Leadership: Proven experience in managing project teams of 10+ members.
Language: Any work visa.Fluent in German (C1 or above) and English – both are mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Change Management tools (e.g., IBM Rational Change, PTC Windchill).
Knowledge of Functional Safety (ISO 26262) and AUTOSAR.
Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
