Role: Change Manager – SAP S/4HANA Transformation

Experience: Junior – Mid-level

Package: €65,000 - €90,000 EUR

About the company:

We are partnering with a global industrial organisation undertaking a major ERP transformation program. As part of this initiative, the division is seeking a dedicated Change Manager to ensure the successful adoption of the new SAP S/4HANA Global Template.

While the technical concept has already been defined and tested, the focus of this role is on execution and delivery at divisional level. Acting as deputy to the Divisional Program Manager, this hire will take ownership of the stakeholder-facing aspects of change, ensuring clarity, trust, and acceptance across multiple European sites.

This is a critical position to bridge communication from C-level leadership down to operational teams, driving adoption and alignment at scale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute divisional change management plans to support the ERP transformation.
  • Conduct stakeholder analysis and change impact assessments across multiple sites and business functions.
  • Run workshops with local teams to identify key impacts and address adoption challenges proactively.
  • Create and deliver communication strategies that promote transparency, clarity, and trust.
  • Coordinate divisional training activities in line with global rollout objectives.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of change plans, adjusting based on feedback and adoption.
  • Provide regular reporting to divisional leadership and program management.
  • Act as deputy to the Divisional Program Manager, focusing on stakeholder engagement, communication, and adoption support.

Ideal Knowledge & Experience:

  • Proven background in Change Management within complex, multinational environments.
  • Hands-on experience executing change plans (not just designing frameworks).
  • Strong expertise in stakeholder analysis and impact assessment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to engage confidently from C-level to site teams.
  • Fluent in English (mandatory); German highly preferred for successful adoption in local entities.
  • Proactive, autonomous, and comfortable driving change initiatives independently.

Personality Traits:

  • Transparent, energetic, and action-driven.
  • Persuasive and confident, able to secure buy-in at all levels.
  • Balances empathy with firmness to ensure effective adoption of change.
  • Strong collaborator, able to partner with program leadership while working independently.
  • Skilled in building trust across diverse cultures and teams.

What’s on offer:

  • Salary range: €65,000 – €95,000.
  • Permanent employment contract.
  • Flexible base location within Europe.
  • Travel requirement: approx. once per month to Düsseldorf for divisional workshops, plus occasional visits to sites in Germany, the Netherlands, and Italy.
