Job Title: Data Analyst (Contract)
Location: Waterford
Contract Length: 6 months
We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Data Analyst to join our team on a 6-month contract basis. The successful candidate will have proven experience in working with complex data sets within the finance or insurance industry and will possess strong technical and analytical skills to support data-driven decision-making processes.

Analyse and interpret complex datasets using SQL queries and stored procedures.
Develop, maintain, and optimise reports and dashboards using BI tools (SSIS, SSRS, Tableau, Power BI).
Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insights.
Assist with data cleaning, validation, and quality assurance activities.
Support the development and improvement of data pipelines and reporting processes.
Contribute to ad-hoc analysis projects as required.
Strong SQL skills - ability to read and understand stored procedures and write complex queries for analysis.
Proficiency with BI tools - SSIS, SSRS, Tableau, Power BI.
Collaborative mindset - excellent communication skills, ability to work effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Experience working with financial or insurance datasets and familiarity with industry concepts/terminology.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data insights.
Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
Adaptability and willingness to learn new tools and methodologies.
Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field.
Basic programming skills in Python or R.
Experience with advanced data visualisation techniques.
Knowledge of data modelling concepts.
