Job Description

Would you like to help make Danske Bank the preferred bank for personal customers while ensuring that we focus on running a sound business in the process? Is project management your favourite discipline? Then you might be the one we are looking for to join our Advisory Support & Implementation team in Personal Customers Sweden.

You will be part of two teams: the Personal Customers Lithuania Hub and the Advisory Support & Implementation team in Sweden, working on projects. Our team is a diverse mix of former bank advisers, change management specialists, communication experts, analysts, and project managers. We are responsible for managing the strategic projects essential for the development of the Swedish personal customer business. These tasks are carried out in close collaboration with our colleagues in Personal Customers SE, the Advisory Network, tribes, and, of course, stakeholders across the bank.

You will:

As our new colleague, your role will involve managing projects, changes, and initiatives that make a difference to both our colleagues and customers. Examples include managing changes to the services our customers receive or overseeing product adjustments from idea to implementation.

We would like you to be able to:

  • Lead and motivate project teams by defining clear roles, fostering collaboration, and creating a positive work environment
  • Plan and manage project schedules by prioritising tasks, tracking progress, and making timely decisions to ensure quality delivery
  • Break down complex plans into actionable tasks, allocate resources, and ensure projects are delivered on time
  • Address challenges during projects by analysing root causes, identifying solutions, and consulting stakeholders to make informed decisions
  • Build alignment and secure support from stakeholders across the organisation to drive project success
  • Collaborate with senior decision-makers by communicating effectively, building trust, and ensuring alignment with project goals
  • Align project objectives with the bank’s broader strategy to ensure strategic relevance and impact
  • Communicate objectives, expectations, and updates clearly to all involved parties to ensure a shared understanding of the project

About you:

We imagine that you are an experienced project manager with a well-equipped toolbox and experience in driving strategic projects forward. Above all, you are a pragmatist with the ability to find the golden middle ground and to prepare well-structured materials for management decisions. Some of the qualities that define you include:

  • 3+ years of experience working as a project manager with a proven track record of handling high-complexity strategic projects
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to develop and present clear decision proposals both in writing and verbally
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to challenge stakeholders and drive change
  • Strategic thinking, with a focus on business and customers, ensuring continuous progress
  • The ability to communicate complex topics effectively to capture everyone’s attention
  • Analytical skills to make data-driven decisions by structuring and analysing data
  • Advanced English skills

Monthly salary range from 3920 EUR to 5880 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
