Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Frontend Developer at Maritime Optima, located in Oslo.

The Frontend Developer will be working as a part of a team for developing new features, and maintaining user interfaces for our web and mobile applications.

Daily tasks include working with React, React native, Expo, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create responsive designs, collaborating with the product owner and the backend developers, conducting code reviews, and optimizing applications for performance.

You’ll join planning and team meetings and help shape our product development strategy. You work independently, drive steady progress, and collaborate closely with the team.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
• Knowledge of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
• Ability to collaborate with backend developers, UX/UI designers, and other team members
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with version control systems like Git
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Knowledge about the maritime industry is a plus
