The Role:

We are looking for a Digital Systems Manager to join our team to help propel our portfolio of mission-led Climate Action events to new levels.

You will also be responsible for identifying and implementing new tools, platforms, and processes across marketing, sales, operations, production, and client success departments. In addition to our core tools, platforms, and systems, you will also be responsible for identifying how AI tools can improve our business efficiency, create and launch new products, enhance the quality of our existing products, and reduce our costs.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • On-site troubleshooting on registration and data-related issues
  • Lead on the implementation, integration, and optimisation of new digital tools, ensuring alignment with business objectives
  • Oversee system adoption across departments, providing training, support, and clear documentation to ensure smooth transitions
  • Monitor platform usage and performance, providing regular reports and insights to ensure maximum ROI on technology investments
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Event Delivery teams to streamline processes and enable effective cross-departmental working
  • Act as the first point of contact for troubleshooting and liaising with platform providers or technical support when required
  • Stay up to date with digital system innovations and best practices, advising on opportunities for improvement
  • Safeguard data quality, system security, and compliance with GDPR and other relevant regulations

Requirements

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:

  • Proven experience in working in fast-paced B2B events, within an event operations, data, or systems role
  • Solid knowledge of CRM platforms, marketing automation tools, and event management software (e.g. Swoogo, SalesSeek, Active Campaign or similar, such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Cvent)
  • Ability to work under pressure to overcome registration and badging challenges during large-scale events
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience managing WordPress websites, including plug-in configuration, updates, troubleshooting, and content management and analytics
  • Understanding of website optimisation for performance, accessibility, SEO, AEO, and user experience
  • Ability to coordinate with developers and designers to implement customisations or technical fixes

  • Demonstrated ability to implement new platforms and ensure smooth adoption across multiple teams
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels and train non-technical colleagues
  • Highly organised with strong project management skills and attention to detail
  • Understanding of data security, GDPR, and best practices in digital governance
  • Passion for innovation, with an interest in climate action and sustainability, a plus
