Responsibilities
As a Senior Python Developer, you will be responsible for:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining our Django-based backend infrastructure.
- Building out and improving our ReactJS frontend to create a seamless user experience.
- Writing clean, well-documented, and efficient code according to PEP standards.
- Collaborating with the team to define, design, and ship new features.
- Participating in code reviews and ensuring the quality of the codebase.
- Identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks and bugs.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in web development.
- Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus.
- Experience building out Django applications with ReactJS frontends is highly desirable.
- 7+ years of experience in software development with a strong emphasis on backend development using Python and Django framework.
- A proven track record of successfully designing, developing, and deploying complex web applications is essential.
- Backend: Expert in Python, Django, and PostgreSQL
- Frontend: Proficient in HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, and ReactJS
- Best Practices: Strong understanding of current development best practices, including testing, debugging, and version control
- DevOps: Familiarity with AWS and Docker is a plus
- Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
