SAP CAP Developer (NodeJS)

We are looking for a skilled and driven SAP CAP Developer (NodeJS) to join our team.

In this role, you will play a key part in building a specialized application aimed at addressing unique business scenarios. This platform enables partners to sell products, offer services, or create solutions in non-standard situations, streamlining workflows and providing customized support to tackle operational challenges.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain solutions using SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) and Node.js
• Develop and deliver technical solutions tailored to meet unique and non-standard business needs
• Collaborate with various teams to collect requirements and transform them into detailed technical designs
• Integrate the application with SAP HANA, leveraging calculation views and analytics features
• Design and enhance authentication and authorization processes using XSUAA in CAP implementations
• Implement robust security protocols at the SAP BTP platform level to ensure system protection
• Create and refine logging capabilities within SAP BTP to enhance monitoring and troubleshooting
• Conduct code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure application quality and reliability

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• At least 2 years of experience in SAP development or related roles
• Advanced knowledge of SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) and Node.js
• Proficiency in using Git for version control and familiarity with CI/CD pipeline tools
• Strong expertise in SAP HANA, including working with calculation views and analytics functionalities
• In-depth understanding of SAP BTP security concepts, including the use of XSUAA for authentication and authorization in CAP applications
• Knowledge of SAP BTP platform-level security practices to ensure compliance and system integrity
• Familiarity with SAP BTP logging concepts to support effective debugging and monitoring
• Fluent English skills, both written and verbal, at a B2+ level or higher

Nice to have

• Experience in integrating CCS to extend application functionality
• Knowledge of integrating third-party systems and solutions with SAP applications
