I’m partnering with a fast-growing data specialist that delivers cutting-edge, data-driven solutions for major clients—including a leading European airport group, a global manufacturing giant, and the Netherlands’ top energy provider.
They’re looking for a BI Developer to transform complex business data into actionable insights that drive smarter decision-making and performance management. Working as part of a dynamic, collaborative team, you’ll design and deliver dashboards, reports, and interactive visualizations that bring data to life. Using Microsoft Power BI and other leading BI tools, you’ll collect, model, and present data in meaningful ways, while providing valuable support by leveraging data for growth.
You won’t just be another cog in the machine—you’ll be joining a tight-knit, collaborative team at the early stages of an exciting growth journey.
BI Developers Core Responsibilities:
- Design and build dashboards and reports in Power BI: you develop and maintain Power BI models, reports and dashboards and ensure that large datasets are loaded efficiently.
- Translate customer needs into solutions: you analyze customer requirements, build customized solutions, and develop wireframes and visualizations to clearly present your solution.
- Data Collection, Modeling, and Access: You'll collect data from on-premises and cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure), use SQL to prepare data sources, and develop data models and dashboards. You'll collaborate with data engineers to design logical data models.
- Support knowledge development: you guide users in working with Power BI and help colleagues improve their BI skills.
The Successful BI Developer will have:
- Strong command of Power BI, including DAX and the Power Query formula language.
- Experience with SQL for preparing data sources and data analysis.
- Good knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing and ETL techniques.
- Experience designing and implementing complex Power BI solutions in large enterprises.
- Professional or Fluent Dutch Speaker.
