Full-Stack Software Engineer (Frontend-Focused) – AI/Healthcare – Up to €110K – South Holland

Our client is a fast-growing company who develops AI-powered speech recognition software that converts real-time conversations between healthcare providers and patients into structured reports for electronic patient records (EPR). Founded in 2023, they are already the market leader, with their solution integrated into nearly all standalone healthcare information systems.

Their core product is a web application with cutting-edge AI under the hood. The software listens during doctor–patient consultations and generates a complete report for the EPR. Unlike many competitors, which often wrap around Azure, they build their own models, license them via their API, and also power third-party solutions. This SaaS product is sold directly to GPs, with pilots now running in hospitals and municipalities. The team works in a startup style: one software team, company-wide standups, and no corporate bureaucracy—speed and ownership are key.

The Role

They are looking for an independent full-stack software engineer with strong frontend expertise in Angular who thrives in an environment where ownership and technical depth are central. The successful candidate will work with a small, highly skilled team to scale and extend their speech recognition SaaS platform that reduces administrative burden for healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Building and scaling a system prepared for their ambitious growth.
• Extending the frontend with new features and improving user experience.
• Developing new features in the backend (Java/Quarkus) as needed.
• Working closely with other engineers to deliver a seamless product from UI to API.

Tech Stack

Frontend: Angular

Backend: Java, Quarkus

Infrastructure: Docker, Kubernetes, GitOps, Prometheus, Grafana

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong skills in Angular and modern frontend development.
• Backend experience, ideally with Java.
• Ability to work independently, learn quickly, and take ownership.
• Experience in startup or fast-moving environments, working across the full stack.
• Good English (A2 Dutch is fine, but willingness to learn Dutch is required).

The Offer

• Gross annual salary €75K–€110K.
• 31 vacation days.
• Hybrid: 3–4 days in the office.
• Yearly contract to start, moving to permanent.
• No pension yet (planned for the future). Stock option scheme planned.
