- Improve cloud security and compliance, managing IAM, secrets, and governance frameworks across AWS accounts.
- Architect and optimize cross-account AWS operations, ensuring seamless connectivity, networking, and automation across environments.
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) on DevOps and cloud infrastructure, providing guidance and best practices to engineering teams.
- Mentor engineers and advocate for DevOps culture, driving automation, reliability, and performance improvements across the organization.
- Develop and manage centralized DevOps tooling, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and deployment frameworks.
- Experience applying DevOps practices in a professional setting, using agile methods
- Familiarity with cloud-based environments such as AWS
- Excellent cross-team communication skills
- Knowledge of containers and orchestration tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm
- Expertise with infrastructure as code tools such as CloudFormation, CDK, or Terraform
- Basic scripting ability with Bash or other languages such as Python or Ruby
- Experience with continuous integration and deployment tools such as Github Actions or CircleCI
- Expertise in defining and building common, reusable practices across multiple teams -- logging, CI/CD, alerting and monitoring, and security
- AI Operations experience
- Amazon AWS Certified
- Familiarity with AWS lambda and container-based systems
- Strong networking and security fundamentals
- Experience working with Javascript, or Python development teams
- Experience with datastores like Postgresql
- A passion for improving developer productivity through automation and process improvement
- Demonstrated curiosity and interest in keeping up and experimenting with new technologies
- Willingness to embrace change and work within a fast-paced environment
