We are looking for an experienced VP of Cybersecurity who can provide leadership and direction to our cybersecurity team. This role will be responsible for ensuring the overall security of our clients' networks, systems, and data. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cybersecurity technologies, frameworks, and practices, along with a proven track record of developing and implementing effective cybersecurity programs.

Cybersecurity Practice Leadership:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity program that aligns with industry standards and best practices.
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to the security team and organizationally as it relates to security.
- Develop plans to achieve security-specific goals.
- Manage the team to deliver on the plans.
- Communicate these plans effectively to all stakeholders.
- Work with sales to identify new business opportunities with current clients and potential clients
- Build strong relationships with clients and potential clients and act as the trusted advisor on security-related matters
- Develop and manage relationships with external partners, such as vendors, to ensure the effective implementation of the cybersecurity program.
- Maintain a deep understanding of emerging cybersecurity threats, technologies, and practices and adjust the cybersecurity program accordingly.
- Identify and implement changes to our security offerings based on these industry trends, challenges, and opportunities.
- Communicate industry trends, challenges, and opportunities within the organization and within our client and potential client community.
- Apply a strong understanding of financial management to manage budgets and resources effectively.
- Make data-driven decisions and manage risk appropriately.
- Manage a team of cybersecurity professionals to ensure the security of client networks, systems, and data.
- Motivate and inspire the security team to achieve their personal goals and the goals of the security team.
Requirements
What We're Looking For
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in cybersecurity with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Experience developing and implementing cybersecurity programs in a managed service provider environment.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity technologies, frameworks, and practices, including but not limited to ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS.
- Experience managing and mentoring cybersecurity professionals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex cybersecurity concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to think strategically and creatively and to solve complex problems.
- Relevant cybersecurity certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA.
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment and applications such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
