About The Role

We are seeking a talented and dedicated Game Developer specializing in Unreal Engine and Unity to join our dynamic team. This fully remote position involves developing mixed reality (MKB) and Virtual Reality (VR) applications optimized for Meta (Quest) headsets. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on developer capable of implementing immersive gameplay mechanics, iterating rapidly within small teams, and delivering polished, VR-ready products. Your role will encompass designing, developing, and optimizing VR and MKB experiences, ensuring high performance and engaging user interactions. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, including designers and artists, is essential to bring innovative concepts from ideation to deployment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge VR projects that impact government and enterprise applications, leveraging your expertise to create compelling immersive experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Game Development, or related field
• 5 to 8 years of professional experience or equivalent in game development
• Proficiency with Unreal Engine and Unity, with a strong portfolio of VR or MKB projects
• Experience developing for Meta Quest or other VR headset platforms
• Strong programming skills in C# and C++
• Solid understanding of 3D mathematics, physics, and VR development best practices
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within small, agile teams
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
• Experience with performance profiling and optimization for mobile VR hardware

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize VR and MKB applications in Unreal Engine and Unity for Meta devices
• Implement and refine core gameplay mechanics, VR interactions, input systems, and user experience features
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient C# and C++ code to support game functionality and performance
• Collaborate closely with designers, artists, and other developers in short, iterative sprints to bring features from concept to deployment
• Debug, profile, and resolve performance issues across VR and MKB platforms to ensure smooth user experiences
• Document development processes, prepare deployment instructions, and ensure compliance with platform standards
• Support the hosting and deployment of applications through Meta App Lab or official Meta Store publishing channels
