Job Title: Software Engineer (C/C++/Rust/Haskell/Lisp)

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Software Engineer with expertise in systems programming and functional programming languages. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in C/C++ along with experience in Rust, Haskell, or Lisp, enabling them to design, implement, and optimize complex software solutions.


Key Responsibilities:


Design, develop, and maintain high-performance software applications using C/C++ and modern programming languages such as Rust, Haskell, or Lisp.


Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.


Optimize software for speed, memory usage, and reliability.


Collaborate with other engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.


Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and performance bottlenecks.


Stay up to date with emerging technologies, tools, and programming practices.


Contribute to code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.


Qualifications:


Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).


Strong proficiency in C and C++ programming.


Experience with at least one of the following: Rust, Haskell, or Lisp.


Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and computer architecture.


Familiarity with concurrent and parallel programming.


Experience with debugging tools, performance profiling, and memory management.


Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.


Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):


Experience contributing to open-source projects.


Knowledge of compiler design, language theory, or functional programming paradigms.


Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and low-level system programming.


Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
