Senior Mobile Engineer – AI Scale up – London (Hybrid)

Innovative AI scale up now requires a Senior Mobile Engineer to build their flagship user-facing mobile application across iOS and Android platforms.

This role will lead the development of their core application, focusing on their AI tools and native call integration in line for product launch.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of the mobile application on both iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin) – Technical design and App store development.
• Document API usage, technical specifications and architecture decisions.
• Implement the user interface for the entire customer/application journey.
• Implement secure on-device storage for sensitive data.
• Collaborate with back-end engineers to successfully integrate RESTful APIs for data collection and AI services.

Key Requirements:

• Strong professional experience in native mobile application development.
• Expert level iOS or Android development skills, with either Swift or Kotlin respectively,
• Experience working on AI or ML focused projects
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs.
• Experience building consumer facing mobile applications with a strong focus on UX/UI implementation.
• Hands on experience using native call handling frameworks such as iOS CallKit and/or Android’s CallScreeningService would be ideal but not essential
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with cross functional teams.

This is a permanent opportunity with base salary dependent on experience.

In terms of working structure this is hybrid with 2-3 days per week in their Central London office and the rest remote.
