Litecard is a wallet-led marketing platform for CRM, Loyalty & Promotions, helping brands connect with customers through Apple and Google Wallet without needing an app. The platform offers digital loyalty cards, offers, and memberships distributed via QR code, SMS, email, or media channels to simplify CRM and promotional experiences. We have offices in the Netherlands and Australia with clients and team members globally.

Role Description:

1) Responsibilities

• Executives will create business requirements
• You will transform the requirements into JIRA tasks for the developers to take and complete
• You will review pull requests and approve them to be merged or request changes from the developer responsible
• You will conduct brief daily standups for the team to manage their workloads, timelines and expectations
• You will be presentable, have strong communication skills, speak business-level English and be based in Melbourne 

2) What You Will Be Doing

• You'll brainstorm with product owners and other developers to conceptualise and build the product
• You’ll be onboarding and mentoring other developers, balancing teaching and delegation
• You’ll work as a team to build features that will have a significant business impact
• You’ll take ownership of systems, define their direction and improve their long-term health
• You'll assist our support team to triage and resolve production issues
• You’ll improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes
• You’ll client meetings to provide technical solutions and advice, and responding to customer queries with clear technical guidance

3) What You Should Have

• You solve problems and design solutions end-to-end
• You can drive technical decisions within your team and contribute to the technical architecture
• Your code is understandable, easily tested, and considers future maintenance
• You are a strong communicator, explaining complex technical concepts to designers, support, and other engineers is no problem for you

4) Interview Process

• System Design interview and assessment (hiring process in 2-3 weeks maximum)

5) Checklist

• At least 5 years of professional development experience
• General development experience must include:
• Version control (Git preferably)
• Front-end development experience must include:
• React
• Typescript
• Redux
• Redux-saga
• Back-end development experience must include:
• Node.js
• AWS (Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS, CDK)
• Open API
• Auth0 or OAuth Authentication Experience
