Who We Are:

Gransolar Group is an innovative leader in solar photovoltaic energy and battery storage systems. With over 20 years of industry expertise, we operate globally across the renewable energy value chain. From development and construction to designing, tracker manufacturing, and operations & maintenance (O&M), our projects power a cleaner, greener future.

At Gransolar Group, we are guided by our values and ethical principles. We foster positive community impact while providing our team with opportunities for professional growth, encouraging every employee to feel like an integral part of our journey towards sustainability.

The Role:

We are looginf for Performance Data Analyst to lead the Performance evaluation and analysis of parameters and behaviour involved in the performance of the PV Plants to verify the correct operation of the system and/or validate the reliability of generation predictions and detect relevant deviations or inefficiencies that impact the energy performance of the installation, to ultimately ensure success in meeting the EPC Performance Guarantees.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Data collection and Analysis: collects solar plant data from SCADA systems and or monitoring platforms. Analyses this data to identify trends, patterns and anomalies that may affect performance. Collects and analyses design and theoretical historical data.
  • Root-cause analysis, fault and problem identification: investigate, identify and quantify deviation in performance (short, mid and long-term) and causes to it. Detect and document technical issues or anomalies diminishing energy generation (such as, inverter faults, shadings, irregular tracking, grid constraints or design errors).
  • PV Performance Analysis: uses data analysis to evaluate and validate PV plant performance through energy predictive models or indexes (such as regression, software simulation, Performance Ratio (PR).
  • Reporting: designs and produces detailed reports or dashboard panels for KPI’s follow-up, including data analysis, conclusions and recommendations for improvement. and produces dashboard panels or reports for energy KPI’s follow-up.
  • Inter-departmental coordination: coordinate actions with Engineering, Project, Commissioning and O&M teams for data and information collection.
  • System and Contract optimization: helps the Company and the Department identify areas of improvement to optimize the energy production of the installation and performance testing, and secure EPC Guarantees.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Industrial or Electrical Engineering Degree.
  • Data science/analysis trainings.
  • At least two (2) years in PV Commissioning or O&M departments
  • Technical knowledge of PV technology and PV systems (elements and equipment).
  • Knowledge of performance metrics. Familiarity with Performance Ratio (PR), efficiency and other relevant metrics (familiarity with PVsyst is also desirable).
  • Experience managing data from SCADA systems and monitoring platforms.
  • Ability to interpret complex data and communicate results clearly and concisely (content and format -PowerBI or others).
  • Experience in data analysis, predictive models (Python, R, SQL Server, others).
  • Ability to work autonomously and take initiative.
  • Experience in solar plant operation.
  • Knowledge of PPC control.
  • Knowledge of electrical engineering.
  • Technical knowledge of EPC contracts.
