Data Analyst - Business Performance

About The Role

Ventia is a leading infrastructure services company, operating across Australia and New Zealand. Our clients are the owners and operators of assets that are critical to our local communities.

In partnership with the Australian Defence Force and supporting our Defence Maintenance Contract (DMC), Ventia are currently seeking a Data Analyst to support the Data Analytics and Performance Manager, Regional Management and Operations team in delivery of the performance and business metrics across Australia.

The position is a permanent full-time position and can be based out our corporate offices in Victoria, New South Wales or Queensland.

Role Responsibilities

• Reporting on Services Summary Report including, contract Status, rate of effort, performance measures and other reporting as required.
• Responding to client needs and facilitating resolution in a timely and customer-focussed manner within the Contract and the agreed service standards.
• Dashboard creation and maintenance on reports for client and Ventia delivery teams.
• Data Cleansing and collation.
• Working towards team-based objectives and demonstrate a commitment to achieving the agreed targets.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to drive efficiencies and best practice methodologies.
• Provide clear and regular communication within the team, across the contract and client contacts.
• Actively participate in the Performance Development Review process, ensuring alignment to the performance pillars - Perform, Grow, Develop & Innovate.
  
  

About You

To be successful in your application will you have a Data Analytics background working with contract performance metrics accompanied with:

• Proven experience and high competence with the MS Office Suite
• Experience in PowerBI, Queries, DAX, PowerApps, Dashboard creation and maintenance
• Knowledge of quality and continuous improvement systems including “lean” principles and tools
• Proficiency in SQL for writing queries and working with relational databases, enabling efficient data extraction, transformation, and integration into Power BI reports (Advantageous)
