Data Science/AI Lead

Responsibilities
  • Design, implement and evolve robust, clinically validated and scalable algorithms based on complex systems modelling, differential equations and ML/AI methodologies.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and domain experts to gather requirements, define specifications, and ensure seamless integration of developed algorithms into productive systems.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and internal quality standards, including ownership of design specifications, implementation details, and test results.
  • Lead a team of data scientists, AI developers and data engineers, providing guidance and mentorship.
Qualifications
  • Advanced degree (Masters or PhD) in Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Robust comprehension of Complex Systems, Differential Equations, ML/AI algorithms.
  • Proficiency in Python, general software engineering, and data engineering practices.
  • Experience with data analysis, machine learning libraries, and simulation tools.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for innovation and a drive to contribute significantly to the diabetes/metabolic healthcare domain.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience within the healthcare/medical device industry.
  • Knowledge of Diabetes technology and physiology.
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards applicable to medical devices.
  • Track record of publications or presentations at relevant conferences or in journals.
