Clear are working with a specialist provider of Building Management Systems (BMS) and smart building solutions. Our projects focus on optimising energy efficiency, sustainability, and building performance across commercial, residential, healthcare, education, and industrial facilities. We design and deliver intelligent control systems that enhance comfort, reduce costs, and support net-zero goals.

Clear are seeking a BMS Project Manager to oversee the delivery of building management and energy control system projects from design through to commissioning and handover. The role involves managing multiple stakeholders, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget, and maintaining the highest quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end delivery of BMS projects, from planning and design to installation, commissioning, and handover.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to define project requirements and deliverables.
• Oversee resource planning, scheduling, and procurement of equipment/materials.
• Monitor project progress, manage risks, and provide regular reports to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and relevant industry standards.
• Coordinate with commissioning engineers to achieve system integration, testing, and client approval.
• Control budgets, variations, and change orders effectively.
• Drive continuous improvement and support best practices in project delivery.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Building Services, Electrical, Mechanical, or related engineering discipline (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years’ project management experience, ideally within the BMS, HVAC controls, or building services sector.
• Strong knowledge of BMS systems (e.g., Trend, Tridium/Niagara, Schneider, Siemens, Honeywell, or equivalent).
• Experience in system installation, commissioning, and client handover processes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and client-facing skills.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
• Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, or similar).
• Familiarity with Irish building regulations and construction practices is advantageous.
