We are seeking a highly adaptable Delivery Manager / Product Owner to lead, support, and streamline the delivery of multiple projects within our design and development teams. This role will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and the delivery teams, ensuring smooth collaboration, efficient processes, and the successful implementation of our growing Design System.
The ideal candidate is a people person with excellent communication skills, a strong background in project management, and experience navigating both Agile and Waterfall methodologies. You will play a pivotal role in onboarding the design team, ensuring alignment between designers and developers, and helping business owners manage expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Management: Oversee and manage multiple projects as they enter the design and development pipeline.
- Design System Oversight: Ensure the design system is consistently updated, adopted, and applied across projects. Provide training and support to teams on how the system works in Figma.
- Team Onboarding & Toolkit Integration: Guide new web design team members, ensuring they understand processes and adhere to the design system. Oversee toolkit adoption to guarantee system compliance.
- Facilitate Collaboration: Foster effective communication between designers and developers, ensuring early alignment to minimize rework and wasted effort.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as the link between business owners and delivery teams, managing expectations and balancing priorities.
- SCRUM & Agile Leadership: Act as SCRUM Master for Agile teams, while ensuring smooth project flow in teams operating under Waterfall methodology.
- Product Ownership: Work closely with business owners to define priorities, translate business needs into actionable requirements, and deliver value-driven solutions.
- Forecasting & Reporting: Use tools such as Excel and Forecast AI to monitor progress, track KPIs, and provide accurate delivery forecasts.
- Proven experience as a Delivery Manager, Product Owner, or Project Manager.
- Strong knowledge of Agile (SCRUM) and Waterfall methodologies.
- Experience working with Figma and knowledge of design systems.
- Tools proficiency: Azure DevOps, Zeroheight, Excel, Forecast AI.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills; able to explain technical and design processes to both creative and business audiences.
- Adaptability and flexibility to handle shifting priorities and multiple stakeholders.
- Languages: Fluent in English and Spanish (both written and spoken).
- A natural people person who thrives in a collaborative environment.
