Who We Are
Bally's Corporation is a global casino-entertainment company with a growing omni-channel presence. It currently owns and manages 15 casinos across 10 states, a golf course in New York, a horse racetrack in Colorado, and has access to OSB licenses in 18 states. It also owns Bally's Interactive International, formerly Gamesys Group, a leading, global, online gaming operator, Bally Bet, a first-in-class sports betting platform, and Bally Casino, a growing iCasino platform.
With 10,600 employees, the Company's casino operations include approximately 15,300 slot machines, 580 table games and 3,800 hotel rooms. Our digital experiences web team is at an exciting point in its development, using frameworks such as React and NodeJS to deliver mobile-first, responsively designed websites and tools to create a fully custom casino experience for our players, globally across al devices and embedded in native apps.
We have great teams of enthusiastic and talented software and QA engineers and want more people like them. We’ll do our best to get out of your way so that you can get on with your job while providing encouragement, coaching and an Agile support team of Product Owners, Staff engineers, Project Managers and Engineering Leads. So, what will you be doing?
- Develop and deliver high-quality software features, taking ownership from conception to production.
- Collaborate closely with team members and other departments to contribute to the overall success of the product.
- Implement and deploy progressive technical practices, including continuous delivery, walking skeleton, and pipeline automation.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of architectural concepts and identify opportunities to leverage bleeding-edge technologies effectively.
- Experience in web technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, and HTML (We write everything in TypeScript)
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks, specifically React and Node.
- Familiarity with REST and RESTful practices, as well as messaging technologies.
- Experience with testing frameworks like Jest, Jasmine, or Mocha.
- Knowledge of Continuous Delivery and Continuous Integration principles.
- Proficiency in containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (Dynatrace, Splunk, etc.).
- Familiarity with automation test frameworks like Playwright.
- Test Driven Development (TDD) experience.
