MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking a Project Manager to manage lower-complexity infrastructure projects (up to $20M) and support senior PMs/Contract Managers with process-related activities. This role requires strong organizational skills, process orientation, and the ability to build effective stakeholder relationships.

Duration: 2 years (Hybrid or remote within BC)

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage low-to-medium complexity projects from initiation through close-out, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, safely, and with quality.
  • Support other PMs and Contract Managers with process-driven tasks and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop project plans, risk management strategies, and supporting documentation (status reports, communication plans, post-implementation reviews).
  • Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders including engineers, field crews, procurement, regulatory bodies, and First Nations.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and resource usage.
  • Contribute to process improvements across the project management function.

Qualifications

Must Haves

  • 3–5 years of project management experience in infrastructure or construction projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or related discipline.
  • Strong organizational, process-driven mindset.
  • Intermediate MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills; ability to manage stakeholder relationships.

Assets

  • SAP experience.
  • Contract management experience.
  • PMP designation preferred.
