As a Front End Engineer, you'll be in charge of designing, building, and improving user-facing features that provide a smooth, easy-to-use, and high-performance experience. You will work closely with the design, product, and backend teams to turn business needs into front-end code that can grow and be maintained.

Main Duties

Use modern front-end technologies like React, Angular, and Vue.js to make user interfaces that are responsive and high-quality.

Work with UX/UI designers to make sure that designs are translated into functional components down to the last pixel.

Follow best practices and coding standards to write code that is easy to read, change, and test.

Make web apps faster, more scalable, and work with more than one browser.

Do code reviews and give your coworkers helpful feedback.

Use tools like Jest, Cypress, or something similar to come up with, keep up with, and improve front-end testing plans.

Make sure that all web interfaces follow accessibility standards, like WCAG 2.1.

Keep up with the latest front-end trends, new technologies, and best practices in the field, and push for constant improvement.

When needed, use root cause analysis to troubleshoot and fix complicated UI problems.

Work with backend engineers to connect APIs and make sure data flows smoothly.

Write style guides, component libraries, and technical best practices to help with documentation.

Necessary Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or the same amount of experience.

More than two years of professional experience with front-end development.

You should know how to use JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3 well.

You should have worked with at least one modern front-end framework, like React, Angular, or Vue.js.

Knowledge of state management patterns like Redux, MobX, and Vuex.

You should know how to integrate RESTful APIs and write code that runs at the same time.

Good at debugging and making things run faster.

Familiar with version control systems like Git.

Good at talking to and working with others; can work well with people from different departments.

Paying attention to details and making sure that UI experiences are of high quality.

Hourly Pay Rate: $40.00 to $70.00 per hour
