About the Role
The role involves designing filtering and sensor fusion algorithms, supporting SDR development, and collaborating with engineers to integrate solutions into FPGA and embedded platforms
Responsibilities
- Develop mathematical models and simulations for advanced DSP systems
- Analyze academic literature and propose novel solutions based on recent research
- Design and implement Kalman filters, Bayesian filtering, and sensor fusion algorithms
- Support software-defined radio (SDR) development using USRP platforms
- Work with engineers to integrate mathematical models into FPGA or embedded platforms
- Apply computer vision methods for real-time object detection and tracking
- Contribute to technical documentation, papers, and proposals
Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of Kalman filtering, Bayesian methods, and stochastic modeling
- Experience with DSP algorithm development and mathematical modeling
- Familiarity with sensor fusion, INS/GNSS integration, and SLAM is a plus
- Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, or C++ for algorithm prototyping
- Experience with SDR systems and platforms such as USRP/GNU Radio
- Understanding of computer vision pipelines for real-time systems
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Experience managing or coordinating research tasks or projects
- Degree in Applied Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (PhD preferred)
Preferred Skills
- Background in defense, autonomous systems, or navigation technologies
- Experience publishing in peer-reviewed journals or contributing to patents
- Ability to work independently on research-heavy tasks and collaborate in multidisciplinary teams
