We are looking for an Operations & Automation Product Manager for our client, a Lithuanian Electronic Money Institution (EMI). The company is live, regulated, and serving international clients in payments and FX. They are now strengthening operations and investing in automation to reduce manual workload, improve efficiency, and stay fully compliant with Bank of Lithuania requirements.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and execute selected manual processes in the short term to understand operational bottlenecks
- Map workflows and define clear requirements for automation (compliance, AML/KYC, payments operations)
- Collaborate with tech and product teams to design, test, and implement process automation
- Strengthen operational oversight (dashboards, incident/change management, vendor follow-up)
- Support compliance alignment with Bank of Lithuania standards while reducing manual workload
- Act as a bridge between day-to-day operations and long-term product/process automation
Qualifications
- Residency in Lithuania, with flexibility to work hybrid (on-site presence in Vilnius several times per month)
- Experience in operations, product management, or process automation within a regulated financial services company (EMI, payments, banking)
- Technical understanding of workflow automation and ability to translate operations into system requirements
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks for EMIs and payment institutions is a strong plus
- Strong communication skills in English (Lithuanian is an advantage)
- Proactive, hands-on, and comfortable working in a scaling environment
