.NET/WinForms Developer

Location : Luxembourg

Languages : English (French is an asset)

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the evolution and maintenance of a core business application
• Develop and implement functional and technical enhancements
• Write, test, and deliver high-quality software using object-oriented principles
• Work with SQL Server / Transact-SQL to design, optimize, and maintain databases
• Apply secure coding practices and participate in risk mitigation efforts
• Collaborate within an Agile team environment, supporting and mentoring junior members
• Use modern development practices and tools (Git, Jira, Confluence, CI/CD, Docker)
• Participate in code reviews, refactoring, and continuous improvement initiatives

Profile

• Degree in Software Engineering or equivalent
• Strong experience in .NET development:
• C#, ASP.NET Web API, WinForms, Entity Framework
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server and Transact-SQL (a plus)
• Familiarity with industrialized development practices (Git, Jira, Confluence, CI/CD, Docker)
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and software testing
• Strong interest in Open Source technologies
• Knowledge of security concepts, database optimization, indexing (a plus)
• Some web design skills are considered an advantage
• Agile mindset: collaboration, intellectual humility, willingness to learn, and openness to diverse technologies
• Ability to deliver against deadlines
• Strong team spirit and ability to work autonomously
• Fluency in English (spoken and written) - French is an asset
