Cyber Security Expert (6-Month Contract)
Location: Luxembourg
The Internal IT Cyber Security team, responsible for safeguarding the IT assets and information, is seeking to engage a Cyber Security Expert for an initial 6-month assignment.
This is an urgent requirement, and we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible.
Up to one day of home office per week is possible.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage security aspects within IT projects.
- Contribute to local cybersecurity program initiatives and participate in team activities and processes.
- Perform business-as-usual (BAU) cybersecurity operations.
- Collaborate with the Deloitte SOC and global teams on global security projects.
- Provide security-related information and responses to business teams and clients.
- Support audits and compliance activities as an auditee.
- Assist IT and business teams in adopting secure practices.
- Deliver cybersecurity support to Deloitte service lines.
Skills & Requirements
- 3 to 6 years of relevant IT security experience.
- Solid cyber/information security expertise (intermediate to advanced level).
- Strong foundation in IT, with knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
- Software development
- IT support
- Networking
- Databases
- Cloud technologies
- University degree (or equivalent), ideally in IT or Information Systems Security.
- Strong interest in continuously developing security skills.
- Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to clearly articulate and summarise complex ideas.
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken); knowledge of French or German is considered an asset.
