SolarWinds Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a SolarWinds Engineer with solid hands-on experience in managing and optimizing SolarWinds monitoring solutions. The ideal candidate will support the monitoring of network, server, and application performance, ensuring visibility and proactive incident response across the IT landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain SolarWinds modules (NPM, SAM, NCM, etc.)
• Configure alerts, dashboards, and reports based on operational needs
• Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to ensure monitoring coverage
• Troubleshoot monitoring issues and optimize platform performance
• Support upgrades, patching, and platform health checks
• Document configurations and contribute to monitoring standards

Your profile:

Required Skills & Experience

• 1-3 years of experience with SolarWinds Orion Platform
• Solid understanding of SNMP, WMI, and network protocols
• Experience with basic scripting (PowerShell preferred)
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux environments
• Good troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams

Nice to Have

• SolarWinds Certified Professional (SCP)
• Exposure to cloud monitoring (Azure, AWS)
• Experience integrating SolarWinds with ServiceNow or other ITSM tools
• Knowledge of network topology and performance metrics
