Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled Java Microservices Specialist to join our client’s dynamic team in Amsterdam. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining RESTful APIs and microservices using Java Spring Boot, deploying solutions on Microsoft Azure, and collaborating in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices with Java Spring Boot.
• Deploy and operate applications on Azure App Service, Functions, Storage, Azure Data Factory, and Azure SQL.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Optimize SQL queries and ensure data integrity.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate across cross-functional teams.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 8–10 years of experience in software development with strong Java/Spring Boot microservices expertise.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services: App Service, Functions, Storage, ADF, Azure SQL.
• Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines, automation, and testing.
• Strong SQL skills, including query optimization and ensuring data integrity.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills; comfortable working in Agile/Scrum teams.
